I love the idea of a siluro enjoying buble wrap. I feel like an extra "closeup camera" in the upper left side of the gameplay scene that shows the siluros hands holding wrap would be nice, something like pizza tower's side TV reacting to gameplay.
The character design is charming and after a few rounds the gameplay and timing becomes clear. I would add more difficulty by having less and less bubbles available to pop overtime, because, even though it's very satisfactory, when i reached over 400 points i missed that extra challenge to stay playing.
The tittle screen needs some polishing and it's sad the siluro's design is different there, but you were very brave to create a rhythm game that works this good in 48h.
If you go to Teruel again next year, i'd really love a sticker of the siluro! :3 Good job (:
Hey!
Thanks! Actually there was a fleeting idea about make him holding a phone while popping the bubbles, but didn't connect it with the bubble wrap '^^. Altough, there was another idea too for that based in animating the siluro hands making the effect that we is unrolling the bubble wrap but we didn't make it in time jaja.
We have also planned to add the extra difficulty but we were at the final stretch so we decided to polished everything instead of adding new untested things (for example, the probability of having already popped bubbles was added at the end).
Thanks again and do not forget to post a screenshot with your best result!
The name is catchy! And the game image design with the title is cool. And the sad siluro end screen :3 Not much gameplay depth or anything, but good job getting it done in 48h.
Thanks! We hope you like it, we know that is quite simple but we focused to polish the mainloop to have a well-built game. Don't forget to share a screenshoot with your highest score!!!
